I bought one of these for my dad last christmas along with a few bottles of nice wine.Well, the wine is gone now, but he still is raving about this cork puller.When dinner guests ask about it - I get mentioned!
Ihave used it myself and I have never seen such a smooth cork remover.Itdoes a perfect pull everytime.
After removing the metal on the top ofthe bottle.Just place the puller over the bottle, move the handle downand the screw slides right into the cork.Move the handle back up and thecork slides right out.Never breaks the cork and you don't end up shakingthe wine in the effort to get the cork out.
I don't think that there is abetter hand held puller out there.The next step up from this would be tobuy a table top mounted version - but then you don't get to open the bottlewith your guests.
