I was pretty happy with this wine opener until it snapped off in my bottle of wine. Really, I'm not that strong to be able to do that. It was a defective product.I took pictures of the thing and threw it away. When I tried to have them replace it, they said you must mail in the broken corkscrew (at your own expense) in order for an exchange. Frankly an additional trip to the post office plus postage isn't worth the hastle of a replacement, which I think OXO is banking on. I offered to send pictures. Customer service was pretty unhelpful. I would not recommend this product to others and will probably avoid buying OXO products in general.
