Two of the initial four arrived broken because of poor packaging.Amazon Customer Service sent another box of four, all arriving intact.These are described as "All-Purpose" but are really large red wine glasses.They are heavy, and the bases aren't completely flat, so they rock slightly on flat surfaces.They do hold wine, however, and I guess that's the point!
