This Brabantia cork screw remains my favorite corkscrew, even after over 11 years of almost unchanged design. It is the most user friendly one of them all and works with virtually any bottle.The plastic one I bought lasted me 11 years. Now I'm buying a steel one of the same model. It may last the rest of my life.
Its foil cutter is unsurpassed. It always works. Any other cork screw has problems if one doe snot use the right angle, or traps my skin because it is made out of two moving pieces instead of one like this Brabantia one.
