This opener never worked properly. It was rough to use, often broke the corks halfway in the bottle - or didn't remove them at all. Then it broke entirely. I upgraded this review a notch because the company finally stepped in and offered a replacement.I've had 2 other portable units of theirs break as well, but they replaced those as well.
