I was very excited about the product because sometimes I noticed big improvement of wine taste they are aerated, but I rarely have the time to decant wine.So this seems a perfect solution.So I did a good number of blind tasting of about 4 wines.For two of the four wines, my friend and I could tell the improvement of taste--smoother and richer in flavor.Four the others, we couldn't tell the difference.
So it seems it works for some wines but not other.
There is a trick to improve the effect of aeration--pour the wine quickly so there is more wine accumulated in the funnel, which increases the fluid pressure and draws in more air.This requires a bit practice, but seems to improve the effect of aeration for me.I prefer the aeration to be on the stronger side.
