Review of Nickel Champion Wine Opener Set - Hardwood

This beautiful piece is in the center of my island in my kitchen. It catches the eye of my guests and is a fun conversation piece. It uncorks and recorks wine by simply raising and lowering the lever in a smooth deft motion.....Also note the color/metal plating finish of the actual piece-- antique bronze is another option to consider. The shiny nickel ... really contrasts to the intended antiquity of the tool.Last, the mounted corkmaster stands about 25 inches high-- quite a few inches taller than the average wine bottle.Obviously this is to accomodate all bottle sizes but if you are uncorking the usual 750 ml, you will use the clamp ... to hold the bottle. It made me nervous at first but works really well!I do recommend this item.

Review of Rogar Hanging Wine Glass Rack - Black/ Chrome

I bought this hanging wine rack, and although I wasn't able to install it as intended (my ceiling joists were not centered over where I wanted it to hang), I love it!My solution was to mount two sturdy tension rods between cabinet sets (over the kitchen sink) and loop the chains on the tension rods.It worked perfectly and actually I feel its more sturdy than hanging from hooks on the ceiling now.

It is extremely heavy duty and not flimsy at all!

Each row holds 4 of my wine glasses (red wine).

Review of Rogar Estate Wine Opener with Black Granite Table Stand and Handle

After using and purchasing many different hand held cork removers I must say that I believe that this is the last one I will ever need for the home.Very robust and impressive looking too.A bit tall for my 5'2" wife to easily use when it's on top of our wine fridge but she doesn't complain.I will be buying another one for our vacation home.

Review of Estate Wine Opener - Antique Bronze

I owned an Estate Wine Bottle Opener for about 20 years, during which time it successfully and easily opened many bottles of wine and was a beautiful conversation piece in my kitchen.A few weeks ago, after all that time, the auger snapped off.As I had been so satisfied with the previous model, I did not hesitate to purchase another. Now I am EXTREMELY disappointed!!! The previous reviewer is correct in that it more often than not forces the cork down into the bottle of wine!!It appears as if they have changed the design, especially of the auger. It seems too wide and flat on the end to smoothly pierce into the cork before the action of the mechanism pushes it down. Very sad that a quality product is not being produced anymore.

Review of Estate Wine Opener Set

I've had this wine opener for about 6 months and I find I rarely use it because it is somewhat cumbersome compared to other hand-held wine openers that I have. The main problem is that the corking mechanism is not vertically adjustable so the bottle of wine has to dangle precariously in the air while you perform the operation.

If you could adjust the mechanism to fit the height of each bottle of wine, this thing would be 5 stars.

Other than that one complaint, I do find it to be very nice looking. We leave it on display with a nice bottle of wine resting on the wooden base. It's a very classy look.
