I have tried numerous bottle openers, all with varying degrees of success (cork in the bottle, etc).I saw this at a friends house and immediately bought one for myself.Once it's charged, as advertised it will open dozens of bottles before needing to be recharged.I bought this as a Christmas present for friends knowing they will love it, too.

Review of Marquis by Waterford Vintage Deep Red Wine Glasses, Set of 4

I bought two (2) sets (8 glasses total) of the Deep Red Wine stemware.The glasses are beautiful, and have the shape and feel of Riedel in many respects.
I must say they chip rather easily, compared to experiences with stemware manufactured by more prestigous companies.Word to the wise--don't put these in a dishwasher.My partner did this, thinking that because it wasn't a 'different' brand name, that they were somehow inferior and thus hardier against the jets.Treat these just like Riedel.
The glasses have a great feel in the hand, and the graft where the stem meets the base is smooth and well polished.The lip of the glass also more than passes muster, it's a sharp edged rim that typically tells the difference between good glasses and bad.
My overall recommendation is that unless your mission with entertaining is to impress with implements (rather than with the wine, the food, the host, etc.), buy these for even the best occasions over Riedel, given that these are nearly half the cost.I believe they offer an equivalent drinking experience.
