Review of SpringStar - Glass Fruit Fly Trap

I ordered two of these fruit fly traps from Best Nest. I used them once, and when I washed them out wearing rubber gloves and using only hot water (no soap or scrubber), the color began to peel off in large chunks. They need to be washed because the mix used to attract fruit fly has a ghastly smell. Seriously, a VERY bad smell.

This stuff really works.We have a lot of fruit and veggie scraps that I compost.It took about a week but we are rid of all the fruit flies.
