I collect corkscrews. The Elegance is the top of the line for the Screwpull series of corkscrews. It is efficient and looks like a work of art, and makes a great gift.
It comes with a stand, unlike most similar models, and the stand can rest on your shelf or be mounted on the wall. The stand occupies a large footprint on your shelf.
The included Screwpull foil cutter is the best available, but both hands are required to remove it from the stand.
The unit is a bit heavy, even for guys. In combination with the floppy arms, the heaviness makes it somewhat awkward to use. Once positioned, there is no speedier cork removal available; but it requires a bit of arm strength, particularly for a sticky cork. My wife doesn't like it. After the cork has been pulled, it is easily released from the unit
Overall, I believe that the best corkscrew for most people is the Winemaster (by Vacu Vin). It is less cumbersome to use and requires minimal effort. It looks good and has a small footprint on your shelf. Its included foil cutter works very well and can be removed from the unit and replaced with one hand. As with the Elegance, after the cork has been pulled, it is easily released from the unit.

I have had the Screwpull Metal Wine Pump & 3 Stoppers for over a year now and it still keeps my wine fresh even after a week.I reseal the bottle after each use.I purchased these extra stoppers because the pump only comes with 3 rubber seals and I found I had times when I needed more, especially after a party.Often times I'm just saving the reminents of the wine to use in a stew, rather than to drink.
If you drink wine frequently, this is a must have. This model comes with the ribbed stoppers. The non ribbed stoppers don't hold the pressure.
